Testing for and identifying lupus-like anticoagulant

Focus

The antiphospholipid syndrome(APS) is a serious disease. The search for a lupus anticoagulant is part of the diagnostic elements of APS. The main indications of this act and its place in the therapeutic strategy are defined by four recommendations. The identification of the presence of a lupus anticoagulant can adapt care therapy with a positive impact on the morbidity and mortality of patients after four recommendations based on expert advice, studies observational studies and randomized with methodological limitations.
