To evaluate and propose the most appropriate criteria for the diagnosis and initial management of RA in order to facilitate early diagnosis so that DMARD treatment may be initiated as soon as possible. The aim is to have an impact in terms of:
- preventing RA and slowing or controlling the progress of the disease and its complications
- reducing pain
- preventing functional loss in daily activities and at work, thus improving quality of life.
